"A peek into this exhaustive library put together by Gaurav Dayal will give you a good representation of some of the musical styles prevalent in India.

The moods on this sample cover a broad range of emotions and situations - Celebration, Romance, Sombre and a Bridal sendoff in styles across the spectrum in the Indian musical domain. Though this package is titled "Classic Bollywood", do not assume that its use is restricted. It can be used for dance clubs, wedding parties, social gatherings or any occasion which call for an ethnic taste.

The vocals, both leads and backups have been executed with a flair and a touch that can only be described as authentic Indian. The lyrics are in Punjabi, language of the state of Punjab in Northern India. This compilation by Gaurav Dayal will please any diehard Bollywood fan or Indian music aficionado."

Haven't done this in awhile, so I figured I'd do it again.

My name's Rachel and I'm a 23 year old first year teacher. I look like a 14 year old than my real age. I teach in a rural community in a small school and I have a 5th grade classroom. I love working with children, and my students are a blast, except for when they won't shut up ;) I also coach and referee youth soccer in the fall and spring.

When I'm not teaching, I prefer to relax at home. I love my breaks from school so I can read, write, or play some video games. I'm an anime fan, though not of any of hte stuff that's super popular. I enjoy Fate/stay night, Crayon Shin-chan, Sgt. Frog, and Strawberry Panic. I'm always on the lookout for new yuri series, but I abhore yaoi. I collect figures from Fate/stay night. I also enjoy Rainbow Brite; I collect things from that show and enjoy writing fanfic as well. I am a fanfic author, and have been for nearly 10 years. My current fandoms are Rainbow Brite and Fate/stay night, but I've also written in Digimon, DBZ, and Power Rangers. My ships I've either done or am currenlty doing: Kim/Tommy (PR), Kim/Kat (PR), Gohan/Videl (DBZ), Stormy/Moonglo (RB), and Saber/Rin (FSN)

What else? Oh, I love cosplay and dressing up, which also means I love going to anime cons. They're such fun. I look forward to Tekko and Otakon next year :)

In my journal you'll find updates on my life and things. I do post honestly about my feelings and do not hold back so I warn you now. I'm looking for new journals to read :) My journal is locked to the public, so comment here or comment on the first post in my LJ.

The friends list is severely lacking these days so I'm here to find fresh meat. First off, a little about me:

Name: Michael, Mikey, Mickey, Jerk, Asshole, Yeah You That Guy
Age: look 18, feel 85 but in reality- 27
Location: middle of the forest, Missouri
My Journal: one or two updates a week, the occasional voice post and always my twisted sense of humor and idiocracy

I'm looking for anybody and everybody. Variety, along with cinnamon, is the spice of life. Check out my user info, check my Myspace and if you think we'd tolerate each other, add my stupid ass.

Peace- Michael

Notification System

**FINAL EDIT Thu Dec 10 02:15:47 UTC 2009**

So there is the final update... Over the past day we have processed around 11 million jobs out of the 12 million that were in queue at that time. Please bear in mind that over this past day, more jobs for notifications are also created. So while the queue has been dropping, we are still not fully caught up at this point, due to backlog and new jobs. We have roughly 3 million jobs still pending that involve the notification system in some manner. We had hoped we could have fully cleared the queue in a day, but unfortunately we can't clear it too quickly, since we need the rest of the site to operate normally. From our current perspective on the amount of jobs that are left in queue, and how many it has processed thus far, we believe it will take around another 8 - 12 hours to process everything.

And finally some answers to some questions:
